The Social Hairdresser of the Municipality of Athens offers free services to people in need
THE TARGET
The Social Hairdresser is a pioneering structure that offers free haircuts and shaving to our homeless fellow citizens, but also to families who live under difficult conditions in their daily lives.
Located at the Citizens' Mutual Aid Center of the Municipality of Athens, it was created with the kind sponsorship of L'Oréal Hellas ( L'Oréal Professional Products ) and competes in both aesthetics and equipment of a modern hair salon.
The Social Hairdresser stands out for another reason: It is the first structure of K.Y.A.D.A. which will work exclusively with volunteer hairdressers in collaboration with Anastasios Stavropoulos, known as Anber , a professional hairdresser, who has offered important social work to people in need of care and support.

A dream come true!
The Social Hairdresser of Greece took on flesh and blood! A social structure that will offer its services free of charge to those in need. For me it was a vision of years, which after public benefit actions and collective efforts, managed to get "breath". A "gift" from man, to man, for man. An offer that stems from our love for what we serve. A Social Hairdresser full of love and care for fellow human beings.
I warmly thank the Municipality of Athens and the Mayor Mr. Bakoyannis for the concession of the space, Mrs. Maria Korali , General Manager of L'Orèal Hellas and L'Oréal Professionnel for the kind sponsorship of the project!
